Facebook, Twitter,Pinterest.... what happened to blogging?

With so many social networking sites it's hard for me to believe that some people still blog... not to say it isn't enjoyable or anything... it's just that there are so many other things! The funny thing is, that blogging in reality is more like the telling of a story to others as opposed to say, Facebook, where you write a brief synopsis of the moment and people comment and say "how fun" when they, in reality, haven't heard most of the story. So i've decided to get back on a post things because if i'm going to post memorable stories from my life then i'm going to post the whole thing so that when i get comments they know exactly what happened:)
